Rights Respecting Schools Gold Award
Rights Respecting Schools Award
We are extremely pleased to have achieved the Rights Respecting Gold Award!
Achieving Gold: Rights Aware means there is evidence that:
- Your school has explicitly adopted a child rights approach based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and has embedded it in school policy, practice and culture.
- Children, young people and adults in your school have a thorough understanding of child rights, and rights respecting attitudes and language are embedded across the school.
- RRSA has had a positive impact on children and young people’s learning and wellbeing.
- Students see themselves as rights respecting global citizens and are advocates for social justice, fairness and children’s rights at home and abroad.

Enhanced Values Based Education Quality Mark
Enhanced Values Based Education Quality Mark
We are delighted to report that we have achieved an extremely difficult and rigorous achievement. This was the result of a lot of hard work and a detailed and forensic audit. Our values are at the very heart of everything we do, we know that if we do not instil values in our young people, then all the maths and reading results in the world will not matter. A big thank-you to all the staff at Bannockburn who work tirelessly to maintain a culture of high standards and values and to the parents who support the school and your children in living these values at home.
